Complete process water treatment plants
Complete process water treatment plants
Complex process water and sludge treatment plants are specialized systems designed for industries such as ceramics, stone, glass, concrete, and their derivatives. These solutions ensure efficient water management while supporting high production standards.
Fully automatic systems include a sludge filter press for effective dewatering, while semi-automatic systems operate without this equipment, offering a simpler alternative for less demanding applications.
To meet the specific needs of glass processing plants, we have developed a dedicated Filcore treatment plant. This system ensures efficient water filtration and addresses the unique challenges of glass production, making it an ideal choice for the industry.
Water purification plants semi-automatic
Semi-automatic units are a group of treatment plants ideally suited for plants where small amounts of sludge are generated from the processing of stone, concrete, glass or other similar materials.
Treatment plants of this type do not have an automatic system for dewatering precipitated sludge. The filtration process is carried out in sedimentation silos with the assistance of appropriately selected flocculants or coagulants. The sludge lost from the water is collected in special 1m3 bags. The process of water filtration and chemical dosing itself is automatic. On the other hand, the drainage of accumulated sludge into a bag is carried out by the operator.
Semi-automatic treatment plants are produced with capacities up to 900 l/min of maximum inflow of dirty water .
Standard unit sizes
- 1S4.5-FL 250 l/min
- 1S9-FL 450 l/min
- 1S18-FL 600 l/min
- 1S25-FL 900 l/min
Do Silkam water treatment plants need to be installed indoors
The entire installation is filled with water so it must be protected from sub-zero ambient temperatures.
What are the requirements for connecting a water treatment plant to all machinery in the plant
First of all, all machines must be connected to a single tank in the floor into which dirty water will flow from them. The size of the tank depends on the number and type of machines but it is usually a small tank with a capacity of ~2-3m3.
How to size a treatment plant
The size of the treatment plant is selected based on the amount of water used in the plant and the amount of sludge in the water. For proper sizing of the device, please contact Silkam or your regional representative directly.
Water treatment plants with filter press
The process water treatment plant, which operates on a fully automatic system, is primarily equipped with a sludge filter press. In addition, such a device can be additionally equipped, for example, with an automatic flocculant preparation station, a system for remote viewing of operating parameters as well as control.
The automatic water treatment plant operates identically to the semi-automatic version, relying on sedimentation of sludge in special silos. To accelerate the precipitation of sediment from water, a flocculant or coagulant is added to it. In automatic installations, the sludge collected in the silo is pressed and dewatered in a filter press.
The use of such an installation ensures the long-term use, in a closed circuit, of production water with unaltered properties while reducing waste – “filter cake” to an absolute minimum.
The water treatment plant also eliminates some of the production costs by not having to change water and clean the clarifiers and the associated downtime.
Service Durability Guarantees
This product comes with a 12-month full warranty along with prompt service. We also guarantee post-warranty service for all our equipment. The plant has a reliable press emptying system and a computerized system for self-monitoring the correctness of the pressing process. All of the equipment offered by our company can be made in standard painted and all stainless steel versions.
